Is Life a Struggle For Everyone? Or Do We Make It So?

This is a follow up to the previous post, What Is Our Life Purpose? – Big Picture Questions.com, where we learned that we’re here to experience more joy and love and to be of service. That begs the question: Is life a struggle for everyone? Or do we make it so?

What is life meant to be like?

This is what Wendy Kennedy’s (“The Great Human Potential”) 9th Dimensional Pleiadian guides (the P’s) said about humans on Earth:

“Try not to be so serious, ever struggling. Have fun! The goal of the game on this planet is to see how much joy you can create.”

When we hear that, some of us might think: “Yeah, right? It’s easy for you to say. You’ve never incarnated at our level, on this harsh 3-frequential (“3D”) planet called Earth. Life is hard here, much harder than you think, watching us from your lofty levels.” 😉

But we also know that beings incarnated in the 9th frequency level (“dimension”) have a different perspective from ours, because they CAN perceive everything and everyone at their level (9th) and all the levels below them, all the way down to our 3rd frequency level.

  • They operate as a collective of 2,500 beings (soul aspects), whose job is to hold a resonance for a star, their central sun Alcyone in the Pleiades system (shown above).
  • They maintain greater connectedness with Source, because they are at a higher level. That’s why they understand some things in a way we can’t.

But they’re also watching and learning from us, because WE are the brave ones to incarnate on Earth, as beings with individualized free will, in bodies run by our egos, who think we ARE our body, separate from everyone and with a sense of limitation. But those are just the filters or illusions that we created to challenge ourselves here.

What guidance have we been given?

Through Wendy Kennedy, the Pleiadians have offered us much guidance to help us on our path:

“Drama happens when you aren’t paying attention TO GET your attention. If you see something that you want to change in the world, look at what is going on in your personal life that is perhaps reflecting the issue to you.” Work on that.

“You are never trapped, and you can always make new selections to move you in new directions; in fact, we encourage it. Life gets rather dull and boring taking the same actions over and over again, especially when they are not uplifting or joy filled.”  – Wendy Kennedy

Yesterday’s message from Neale Donald Walsch agreed: “Life is rarely as difficult as you think it is, and hardly ever as aggravating as humans are able to make it.” This from a guy who was homeless, living on the streets for a year after a car accident destroyed his life. He asked:

  • How much patience do you have with Life? Are you willing to overcome minor obstacles as you move through your day?
  • Consider the possibility that the little obstacles in life are not obstacles at all, but stepping stones…that offer you growth.

The “sign from God” can come in all forms – even as a fortune cookie message like this one, that my husband and I got one day, when our company was going through massive layoffs.

Frankly, we were worried about our jobs, because both of us worked in the same department. But that message made us realize that there is life after leaving your job. We moved across the country, started a new life (a better life!) and have never looked back.

What do we need to avoid?

Neale Walsch reminded us, that it’s best to avoid the tendency to catastrophize, to stop worrying about all that could go wrong, things that haven’t happened yet and may never happen. Stay in the now, where your life is being lived, and where you can change things.

Cloe Madanes (The 14 Habits of Highly Miserable People | Alternet) cleverly outlined how people self-sabotage their lives. She wrote: “I’ve come to the conclusion that misery is an art form, and the satisfaction people seem to find in it reflects the creative effort required to cultivate it.” Her article is a must-read for all “Debbie Downers” and the like. 😉

What is failure?

The Pleiadians said what we call “failure” is simply a misalignment between the anticipated (expected) vs. actual (observed) experience of a vibration. There really is no failure! This happens in science all the time – it makes us refine our thinking and adjust the course.

“If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster, And treat those two impostors just the same; Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it.” – Rudyard Kipling (“If”, click to enlarge)

Say to yourself: “It played out in a way I did not anticipate.” That means you are not making it “wrong,” because it simply IS what it is. Everything is a reflection for you, according to the P’s.

  • If there is something you are not keen on, look at it and see how and why you created it; then you can move on.
  • Be careful not to judge it, because then you are going to create more of it. Accept it exactly how it is, see yourself in the driver’s seat, and then you can change it.

“You have to love where you are to change where you are.” – Wendy Kennedy

Final Thoughts

In the 21-Day Meditation Experience • Challenge called “Expanding Your Happiness,” Deepak Chopra asked the biggest question of all: What is the meaning of life?

He said most of us expect a serious or a deep answer, but he posited:

  • WHAT IF we live in a recreational universe?
  • WHAT IF creation is cosmic play?
  • WHAT IF it’s about joy, humor, spontaneity and fun?

He explained the Sanskrit word for this is “Lila,” which means the play of creation. What a concept! We’ll have to pursue that more in the next post.

“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing!”― George Bernard Shaw
