What Is the Radiant Void Or the All?

In previous posts, we learned about the afterlife, astral heavens and using astral travel to merge with the Higher Self. Now we’re ready to explore the next level, which is God consciousness, which some call the ocean of light, the All or the Radiant Void.

“The Void is a formless energy plane, where being nothing, doing nothing is all the rage.” – Gordon Phinn

What is the heaven beyond heaven?

In “More Adventures in Eternity,” Phinn described his astral travels, by which he moved up through the astral planes, through all the hells, purgatories, paradises and heavens to merge with the golden light of the Radiant Void. He expounded:

  • Along the way, he felt the collective consciousness of the inhabitants of the various spiritual planes, which are all part of the afterlife, all part of educating the soul.
  • The God consciousness level looked like a “shining white sea of light” with golden points twinkling like stars, that represent countless Higher Selves/Monads. He wrote:

Void:TES2

“”God” does not do, “God” is. God is all creation. God is everywhere in the design. God supplies the plans and the endless energy. But the monads are the creative types…being endlessly re-creates. We are beings radiating our beingness.” – Gordon Phinn (Confronting Your Immortality)

Phinn said the Radiant Void is the “level where you disappear and don’t care.” The concept of self and other fades, so you cannot see yourself and your companions cannot see you. Yet there are “blendings and mergings that are beyond the heavenly bliss that you already know.”

How do we get there?

In “Confronting Your Immortality,” Phinn said a “holy man” can dissolve into the Radiant Void in the blink of an eye. We, too, can remerge with god any time we like. It’s not about mastery of some special technics, it’s about surrendering. He explained:

  • We have to gradually let go of our personal identity, fears, belief systems and attachments to all worlds of ‘somethingness.’
  • Only then can we merge into ‘nothingness’ of the All or the Great Unmanifest, which is where we and everything else come from and return to.

He described the Radiant Void as an “ocean of light” overflowing with tiny lights, each of which is no more or less than all the others. He continued:

“Each tiny light holds within it, the complete understanding of the Radiant Void and its infinite potential…They know that where they are is the home of understanding, that it is actually omniscience and omnipresence, and that no adventure in the created worlds of the Planet and its spheroidal colleagues can match its magnificence.”  Gordon Phinn

Is the Radiant Void our home?

In “Confronting Your Immortality,” Phinn discovered that just a touch of omniscience is enough. If you stay a little too long there, you don’t want to come back. He explained:

“The radiant void, the ocean of light, the all-knowing, all-loving bliss of beyond, these are but names, but not names of home, for there is no home, no final resting place, there are only stages on an endless journey, cycles of change, each of which has its perspectives, its truths and its attachments to answers. It all depends on your point of view.”

In his view, the Void is just a “refreshing pause” on our endless journey “from divinity to ignorance and back again.” Each cycle gives the Higher Self/Monad fresh experience that adds to its “already crammed” data banks on its “quest to become a minor deity.” He argued:

“The radiant void is itself a belief system. That it is beyond the manifestations and needs of prophets and deities is without question, but that it is beyond definition completely is not.” – Gordon Phinn

What is the function of consciousness?

In “Confronting Your Immortality,” Phinn described how consciousness itself is the medium out of which dimensions are created and sustained. As he put it:

“Guess what, …the beings, the dead or not-so-dead, the communities, the landscapes or lack of them, the spirit planes, angels, powers and principalities, …it’s all made from the same stuff… God consciousness is endlessly adaptable to your moment-to-moment needs, appearing and disappearing, there and not-there simultaneously.”

What Phinn calls “God consciousness” corresponds to what Guy Needler calls the “sentience” of our Source Entity/God. In part, the “adaptability” of this consciousness refers to the temporary structure of “event space” that multiplies and contracts to play out various “what if scenarios.”

  • Event space (or parallelism) is separate from the static structure of our multiverse (with its frequencies, full dimensions and simultaneous universes) created by our Source.
  • But our True Energetic Selves/Higher Selves/Monads are also part of maintaining the multiverse, because we are the “memory” for the multiverse, according to Needler.

What is our true state of being?

In “Word of Gord on the Afterlife, Book 2,” Phinn said that the universes are multi-level playgrounds for consciousness to explore itself in many forms and expressions, which includes energy, matter, sentient beings like us and everything else. He wrote:

“Being virtually omniscient clouds of light is our true state of being… Basically you’re just raising your vibration: you vibrate faster, you become less dense… All these bodies, families and societies are merely convenient ways of organizing form into suitable units for advancement.”

To those who may think it’s a bit of a letdown to be just a ‘cloud of light,’ Phinn said:

“Yes, theoretically, after all the excitements of reunions with loved ones and all the glories of paradise, it can seem a bit dull. But take my word for it, dull is the last thing you’ll say about it once you’re there. It’s the pinnacle of being. It’s how god feels when she’s laughing… Once you’re ‘there’, you know you’ve been ‘there’ before, many many times, and that our visits ‘here’ are just that, trips to collect data and nothing more.” – Gordon Phinn

Final Comments

As you may have noticed, I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading and reviewing Gordon Phinn’s work, which has added an intimate, but wise and experiential touch to the advanced work presented by Guy Needler, whose communication with everything from the soul/aspect to the Higher Self/True Energetic Self to God/Source Entity, its peers and the Absolute/Origin gives us an even bigger picture to consider in awe and wonderment.

In my view, both perspectives are helpful for spiritual seekers trying to understand their oneness with the All. 🙂

“Perhaps you are a cloud of light in an ocean of light?” – Gordon Phinn

heaven“The bliss of being light surrounded by light, all of it knowing and loving seems to be more than enough. Maybe you have become a tiny part of God. And maybe not. Yet you seem to be beyond caring.” – Gordon Phinn
