What Is Trinity In Modern Spiritual Scientific Terms?

In previous posts, we learned that many teachings incorporate the concept of the triad, triangle or trinity in explaining the parts that make up the whole. In this post, we’ll take a closer look at some triads that are used to describe God using the concept of three-in-one. What is trinity in modern spiritual scientific terms?

Why is trinity a hot button issue?

After a little research into this topic, I realized that there are many divergent views on what we call “trinity” (or triune God) that don’t seem to agree on some basic questions:

  • Is trinity a valid concept at all?
  • Was it ever mentioned in the Bible? Or just made up by some theologians later on?
  • Is trinity simply a “mystery” that wasn’t explained by Jesus clearly, so it requires faith?
  • Is God made of three deities or just one deity expressed in three aspects?
  • Are the three parts separate but equal? Are they uncreated but eternal? Or not?
  • If God is made of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, which part is the true God?
  • Does God have a wife somewhere for procreation of the Son? 😉
  • The list goes on…

It’s no wonder we have used so many symbols to depict trinity, as illustrated below:

What are some examples of trinity?

In our physical world, the best analogy for trinity is water, which can exist in three different forms: ice, water or gas (steam) depending on the energies the water molecules hold. The “essence” or molecular structure of water remains the same regardless of its form. Another analogy used is that one person can function as a father, son and brother all at the same time.

In mathematics, trinity (or three-in-one) could be expressed as 13 (one to the power of 3) = 1x1x1 = 1. Another way to understand it is to say: “One infinite Father plus one infinite Son plus one infinite Holy Spirit equals one infinite Godhead [Source].” Table 1 lists a few more trinities from different perspectives.

What is trinity in modern spiritual scientific terms?

According to Guy Needler, the best way to understand trinity or the Triune God concept is this:

  1. Holy Ghost = The Origin (creator of omniverse, which includes everything in existence)
  2. Father = Our Source Entity (creator of our multiverse, which exists within the omniverse)
  3. Son = Humans that come from True Energetic Selves (Oversouls/Higher Selves), the individualized units of Source Entity sentience (where we are the creators of our local and global environments by our individual and global consciousness states).

Our Source Entity created the entire multiverse (not just one but 397 simultaneous universes) and a multitude of entities to populate those environments. That means the “Son” part is not restricted to a “Club for Men” or just human beings, but includes all sentient beings within our multiverse (see Where Do Human and Other Souls Come From? – Big Picture Questions.com).

In his Conversations with God (Book 1), Neale Donald Walsch wrote: “In the absolute there is no experience, only knowing. Being is achieved only after experience. The evolution is this: knowing, experiencing, being. This is the Holy Trinity—the Triune that is God.” He added:

  • God the Father is knowing – the parent of all understandings, the begetter of all experience, for you cannot experience that which you do not know.
  • God the Son is experiencing – the embodiment, the acting out of all that the Father knows of Itself, for you cannot be that which you have not experienced.
  • God the Holy Spirit is being – the disembodiment of all that the Son has experienced of Itself; the simple, exquisite is-ness possible only through memory of the knowing and experiencing. This simple being is bliss. It is God-state, after knowing and experiencing itself. It is that for which God yearned in the beginning.

Walsch explained: “The three-in-one is everywhere found in the realms of the sublime. This Triune Reality is God’s signature. It is the divine pattern. Within the realm of sublime relationships nothing which exists has an opposite. All Is One, and everything progresses from one to the other in a never-ending circle.”

The relationships in the higher realm are invariably triads. But when we are in the gross realm of physicality, the relationships are always dyads, such as left-right, up-down, male-female, etc. There is no “in-between.” Nothing that is conceptualized can exist without its opposite in the dualistic physical universe, which is simply a tool for us to run our chosen God experience as physical beings for a while.

But Walsch added: “Each soul is a Master – though some do not remember their origins or their heritages. Yet each creates the situation and the circumstance for its own highest purpose and its quickest remembering – in each moment called now. There are no victims in the universe, only creators.” 🙂

“What you think, you create. What you create, you become. What you become, you express. What you express, you experience. What you experience, you are. What you are, you think.” – Neale Donald Walsch
