What Is Bipolarism: A Case Study

Previously, we have talked about Bipolar Disorder and other conditions (such as Autism, Aspergers, ADHD, Schizophrenia) that are poorly understood by most people. Why? Because we are trying to explain physically what is happening energetically in these conditions, as noted by Guy Needler in his new book, “Psycho-Spiritual Healing” (in publication). In this post, I’d like to present what we have learned about Bipolarism through my friend’s diagnosis, reading and energy healing with Needler: What Is Bipolarism: A Case Study.

What Is Bipolarism: A Case Study

To protect the privacy of the person, all names and identifiers have been omitted.

History: A 72-year-old male, Caucasian, born in Philadelphia, PA; retired in the midwest. First half of life in the military (35 years in the U.S. Army, Soldier of Infantry/Special Forces, Lt. Col.), second half of life in salesmanship, public speaking and self-improvement (Instructor at Dale Carnegie School). Twice married. Father to five children, grandfather to 12 grandchildren. Cancer survivor. Have been volunteering as a recovery group leader for over 15 years.

Life Plan Reading by Ulla:

Note that we create an individualized personality associated with incarnating in the human form, but the underlying traits are part of our Higher Self (True Energetic Self/Oversoul). As humans, about 95% of our personality is part of our incarnation, 5% is the true personality, which has spiritual sense, knowingness and the desire to understand more. I gave my friend a reading before his diagnosis.

By Card science:

  • Ace of Spades (Ambition through Work, Card of Change/Transformation, Magi card; birth card): It is the symbol of spiritual death and rebirth or constant renewing of life through experience.
  • Seven of Hearts (Unconditional Love, Card of Doubt; ruler card): Here to learn how to love unconditionally, to let go of personal attachments, to give to others without expectation of return or reward, to accept things for who or what they are. Make good counselors, teachers and care-takers who give much to the world.

By Human Design:

  • Projector Energy Type, designed to manage and direct others and has a penetrating aura.
  • Personal Life Theme of Consciousness, which is about questioning what we’re doing here, trying to discover the meaning of it all, engaging directly with all challenges, investigating multiple viewpoints to recognize the patterns within patterns through direct experience, self-observation and historical reflection. His Sun is in Gate 35 of Change/Experience/Adventure/Progress, which is called the “been there, done that” gate.

By Enneatype:

  • Type Six or Loyalist (specifically 6w5 or Loyalist with Thinker wing, Social subtype).
  • The Defender archetype, who is fighting for the little person, a champion for groups or disadvantaged individuals, while being drawn to systems, alliances or beliefs that contain strong authoritarian elements.

Additional Information from Guy Needler:

  • Higher Self’s Level of Evolution: Full Dimension 6 (highly evolved, halfway up the multiverse structure, which means this Higher Self/TES does not need to incarnate (via souls) to evolve, but has elected to incarnate to help other souls ascend).
  • Main Guide: A Master Guide, which is the highest level guide possible (called Columbus or The General).
  • Total Incarnations: 107,329 lives (with 16,184 lives on Earth and 91,145 in the rest of the physical universe as many different body forms). Needler said that’s an awful lot of lives! More than most people.
  • Roles: Soldier or peace enforcement roles in Roman, Mongol hordes, Egypt and Atlantean times; also many back-to-back incarnations to govern growing civilizations in the dawn of the Atlantean period, Roman and Sumerian empires to expand education, governmental processes and procedures; also a past life as a black slave kept in chains at night (after repeated attempts to escape) in the Caribbean region.
  • Famous past life: Winfield Scott (June 13, 1786 – May 29, 1866) was an American military commander and political candidate. Scott holds the record for the greatest length of active service as general in the U.S. Army, as well as the longest tenure as the army’s chief officer.

He served as a general in the United States Army from 1814 to 1861, taking part in the War of 1812, the Mexican–American War, the early stages of the American Civil War, and various conflicts with Native Americans. Scott was the Whig Party‘s presidential nominee in the 1852 presidential election, but was defeated by Democrat Franklin Pierce. He was known as the Grand Old Man of the Army for his many years of service. Scott’s military talent was highly regarded by contemporaries, and historians generally consider him to be one of the most accomplished generals in U.S. history.

According to Needler, Scott had three souls in the same body: one primary soul plus two passive souls that are like backseat passengers that don’t animate the body, but learn by observation. This is what some souls do before they enter into full embodiment and become responsible for the body by themselves.

Bipolarism Diagnosis: June 3, 2020

  • Diagnosis made by Guy Needler, but communicated through a friend (with a pivotal-facilitator soul contract, as described in “Spiritual Guide To Our Relationships”) on his 72nd birthday.
  • This was somewhat shocking, life-altering news that led to some turmoil, reflection and a mini life review, followed by greater understanding and acceptance of the condition. Interestingly, his wife recognized two different personalities in her husband: the kind one and the impatient, irritable or not so kind one.

Energy Healing by Guy Needer: June 23-24, 2020

Needler said the two souls in his body come from two different Higher Selves. There is no benefit for two souls from the same Higher Self to be in the same body.

  1. One soul wanted to experience the spiritual side of incarnation, the more communion based side of incarnation. This soul recognizes that it’s not the human body, it’s part of something bigger and the environment that it exists within is something bigger as well. Apparently, this soul has done this many times where it shared the vehicle with other entities.
  2. The other soul wanted to be more regimented or immersed in the incarnation rather than having a bigger viewpoint. So this soul doesn’t understand about who and what they are, they just think they are the human body. The second soul has had 23,493 incarnations on Earth and 17,021 lifetimes in the rest of the physical universe, so it’s not a newbie either.

The souls can be “born in” or “walk-in” at any time (as described in my YouTube video:

My Friend’s Q&A with Guy Needler:

What percentage of incarnations have more than one soul in the body?

GSN: It’s about 54%!!! But the vast majority of those, about 90% of them wouldn’t know it. In terms of the individuals that I’ve worked with, I’m looking at two things here: (1) the number of individuals I’ve interacted with, and (2) the number of individuals on the planet that are also incarnate in the rest of the multiverse. The answer is basically it’s not uncommon, specifically when there is a time of change [a planetary shift, which is happening on Earth right now, as we shift from a young soul to a mature soul paradigm].

Could I think of this like two for the price of one? A twofer?

GSN: In terms of the body, it’s maximizing the opportunity, so I suppose you could call it that.

I have always sensed that there was sort of like an A or a B personality or soul or interest, and A or B sort of good guy/bad guy in a way, but I don’t know if I have that correct?

GSN: That’s a reasonable analysis, but I wouldn’t call them good and bad guy. I would say one is more focused on one particular experience and one is focused on another particular experience, and each of them is experiencing the other’s [experience] from a passive perspective.

Yes, some of the things I’ve felt quite good about what I’ve done, and at other times I felt somewhat remorseful and thinking, why did I do that?

GSN: Sometimes in circumstances, where there needs to be change, for instance, or there needs to be leadership, or needs to be direction, then there are times, when although it’s not specifically expected, one of them can jump in and take control. This is what sometimes happens with people, when they are bipolar.

The one soul can take over, whereas the other soul doesn’t, so to speak, and sometimes the soul that is stronger or is or can be more dominant does in fact control the roost, so to speak, for much longer than they ought to. And so rather than the one soul being the one that is being in a position of command and control all the time, it sometimes loses that command and control.

Have I had a power struggle? What happens is disruptive to the family members or those around me, when there’s a power struggle within me obviously?

GSN: Yes, several times is what I’ve seen here. The other soul is more military minded, more aware of adverse conditions. When it’s in an adverse situation and it needs to respond to it, it responds. There’s no thought process, Oh, do you mind if I respond now? Because that would be too late in the way it thinks. That’s basically how people survive in adversarial conditions. They do it, because they don’t think about it, they just do it.

It’s a bit like if you were back in service again, and you were in a situation where you needed to make some quick decisions, based upon your experience and what you’re observing, then the situation would be fully understood by this soul. And the response to the conditions and the individuals that were available would be made and the command given that quick (snaps fingers), because it’s got that type of experience within it. So sometimes it might just come out of nowhere. And as a result of that, there are times when it’s going to very quickly come to the front, so again within the healing, what we’ll need to do is make sure it can’t do that.

Is there a way to incorporate and put one in charge or the other one in charge, at least so that there is some way to referee this power struggle?

GSN: Yes, and it’s something that I’ve done, I wouldn’t say on a regular basis, but I’ve done it often. The individual themselves can’t usually do it, it has to be done by a healer who knows what’s happening, and I don’t know of any other healers who do it, to be honest. In fact, I’ve written about it in the “Psycho-Spiritual Healing” book, which is recompartmentalizing those souls into where they’re supposed to be basically (see What Is Bipolar Disorder? (Video) – Big Picture Questions).

In Bipolarism, are the two souls guided by one guide or two guides, one for each soul, IF they both take turns animating the soul at different phases of life? Are both souls connected to the Tan tien to be able to animate the physical body?

GSN: My understanding is in Bipolarism, it’s almost like both souls have integrated at the Tan tien level, so that their sentience sits at the Soul seat and the initiation of the connectivity with the incarnate human vehicle happens at the Core star (between the Tan tien and Soul Seat). And the energy that animates the body is at the Tan tien (below, click to enlarge). And in this instance, rather than the sentience of the second soul being in a passive sense, a backseat passenger, for instance, just in observation mode, they’ve both integrated.

So in the case of Bipolarism, there’s two souls that shouldn’t have but have integrated fully with the body, and so therefore they would have a guide each. When one soul decides to become the dominant soul vs. the other soul, which was supposed to be dominant soul, they start to have a little bit of a disagreement as to who should be the dominant soul, because clearly we only want to have one personality, one soul animating the body. The guides are working out with along with their helpers what to do when that particular soul takes over the animation functionality of the body.

Sometimes we have many souls, but those souls collectively integrate in a different way to Bipolar conditions in Schizophrenia where there’s more than one soul fighting for control of the human vehicle.

Now how am I doing overall? Is there areas that I should be careful of and areas I should be doing, to capitalize on the good things that are going on?

GSN: In terms of how you interact with others, you need to be more cognizant or mindful of or linked into people’s limitations, what they can cope with or what they can accept in their gut as being a dialogue and a transmission of a thought process. Basically, it’s understanding how people are working and where they are going and what they are doing. Be softer in your leadership.

So observe, modify and continue in terms of interaction with others and doing various things. Don’t forget to observe the 10 second rule, which is every time you respond to somebody, give yourself enough time to respond in the right way. That’s the only thing. Don’t forget the best strategy is to have a flexible strategy. That’s the best way forwards.

My Friend’s Comments after Healing/Recompartmentalizing Souls:

It has helped me and those around me immensely. Things are better for sure. I think the most growth comes from the juxtaposition of the polarities, the dualities, the hot/the cold, so I suspect that when there is two or three souls inside the physical body, there has to be many conflicts.

Isn’t that amazing? It has just come to me that these two different types of souls have been a major problem throughout my life, that I was not capable and could not understand why some relationships went well and some relationships were quite the challenge. And then there were times when there would be a quick solar plexus rage. And then it was over. And then I would sit there and say what was that all about? I guess in a way it is kind of like a twofer and that is two for the price of one. But I certainly am so grateful to have discovered this on my birthday with your prodding. Thank you.

My Friend’s Suggestions:

If you think you or your loved ones might have an issue with Bipolarism and wonder about who is in charge, the guidance we have received has been to pray, meditate, intend or coordinate each morning for the next 24 hours, so that the guides know how to sort out who is in charge and when, i.e. which soul is active vs. passive.

Also at the end of the day meditate on what felt productive, what needs to be improved upon, how to make the transitions for each soul more seamless, and how to coordinate and use good human relations when we are working with others. In addition, how to not be too critical of ourselves and our opportunity to learn, grow and evolve more efficiently.

It is absolutely a great opportunity, and for the most part unknown, for most to have multiple souls, possibly multiple guides, possibly multiple life plans. It can be a complicated situation or an opportunity to be more sensitive and more thoughtful by practicing the 10-second rule in almost all situations. Quite difficult and quite challenging in itself.

Addendum: I thank my friend for allowing me to use his case to illustrate Bipolarism to others, which is quite common. I also thank Guy Needler for teaching us more about this condition and for healing my friend.
