Here are a few questions I asked Guy Needler in the December 19, 2020 World Satsanga about the human energy templates, chakras and auric layers. Since there may be some misconceptions about these terms and structures based on some older literature, I’d like to clarify them in this post. How do energy templates differ from auric layers? 

How do energy templates differ from auric layers? 

In “The History of God,” Guy Needler published an Appendix with the names of the seven chakras, their anatomical association and function, as summarized in this Table (based on Needler and other sources). 

To explore these structures further, here are some questions I asked in the December 19, 2020 World Satsanga with Guy Needler’s answers (summarized by me):

We are keenly waiting for the publication of your next book on “Psycho-Spiritual Healing.” But in the meantime, please explain a bit more about the link between the frequency levels and the chakras. In “Hands of Light,” Barbara Brennan wrote:

“Each auric layer has its own set of seven major chakras, each located in the same place on the physical body. For example, for the fourth chakra, there are really seven chakras, each of a higher frequency band than the lower one. These chakras appear to be nested within each other like nesting glasses.” (Hands of Light, 1987 with illustration, below)

Are the chakras really nested?

Guy Needler said: Each chakra corresponds to an energy template and those energy templates operate on a certain frequency level. We have the root chakra operating on the first frequency level. We have the sacral chakra on the second frequency level, the solar chakra on the third, etc., and the crown chakra operating on the seventh level.

• As a healer, if you’re looking at the person panfrequentially, that means you’re looking at them from outside of their form and you’re seeing ALL the frequencies together, you see a set of chakras. And you see the energy templates nested together, almost creating one.
• When you only focus on one particular frequency level, you see the energy template associated with that frequency level, let’s say, the fourth frequency level, so you see the heart chakra associated with that. That chakra deals with energies and frequencies associated with that level and feeds the energy template associated with that level. It can’t feed the other templates, it doesn’t work in that way.

What I feel has happened is Barbara is seeing things in a panfrequential state, seeing the templates all sort of nested together. And she thought that because she’s seeing the chakras all in one go (which is what you would do) that she feels that she’s seeing a bunch of nested chakras as well. But my understanding is that it doesn’t work that way.

What do the auric layers represent?

The auric layers in my understanding are basically a waste product. It’s like when we turn a light bulb on, we get light, but we also get the waste product as heat and magnetic radiation. The auric layers are like the magnetic radiation associated with the chakras.

The gross physical and the spirituo-physical aspects [templates] of the human form create the body/vehicle we incarnate into. Each of those seven layers need to be fed energy independently, but collectively together to work. Each of those has a chakra associated with them [meaning only one chakra per each template].

• When we’re looking at things panfrequentially, we see that the energy templates are nested together, but the chakras appear all as one group of chakras. So I think that Barbara was maybe seeing things slightly in error or interpreted things in a different way to what I see, because I see it quite clearly.
• When the energy comes in through a particular chakra, it energizes the function of that energy template, which is a component part of the incarnate human vehicle, of which there’s seven component parts plus the higher function to the step down frequencies of frequency bands 8, 9 and 10.

The function of allowing the body to work and be animated by the soul creates waste. It’s a “lossy” function and lossy means that you use energy and you waste energy. We imbibe and we eat food. Some of the energies taken in as food we metabolize, which sustains the gross physical aspect of our body. Waste comes out in feces and urine.

• So every time that the chakras are working and feeding these energy templates, they’re also creating a waste product, an electromagnetic energy field that is associated with that particular frequency level.
• So each of the auric layers is a waste product associated with the function of the chakra feeding the energy template of the human vehicle.

So it’s the energy templates that are nested together as one, not the chakras.

When you look at the human form in a panfrequential way, you see all of those energy templates nested together and you see one set of chakras. If you isolate a frequency and look at one energy template, let’s say, the throat at fifth frequency, you see the energy template at the fifth frequency and you only see fifth chakra or the front and rear aspects of the fifth chakra.

When I look at this, I think Barbara understood it, but she couldn’t quite grasp the concept so early, because even in her diagrams in her books, you can see the energy templates in a sort of representation. And then separately there’s the auric layers as well. So you can start to understand that this is maybe just a misunderstanding.

Is the above Brennan model image wrong then, because it shows 7 chakras for every template? If so, why haven’t any of Brennan’s students pointed this out until you did?

No, it’s not correct. It’s misunderstood. It’s a product of its time. The image is not correct to what I see in terms of the title. They are not auric layers but energy templates. The visualization of the chakras is how they appear when looking at a certain frequency level, which distorts their real appearance that they have on the frequency level they are designed to function with. Each one is clearly seen on their specific frequency.

We tend to follow and see what a teacher tells us we can see. I never saw what Barbara said was correct in the way she explained it, once I started to go in my own way, because I saw more detail. If you read her books from a distanced position, you will see anomalies. Obviously, a lot of her work is correct, but it’s what we see from the perspective of frequency that makes the difference between one level of knowledge to another.

Even on the 4th template one can see all seven chakras, BUT, the Heart Chakra is predominant. It’s the templates that are nested, NOT the chakras. It’s obvious really when one looks at it without being indoctrinated into a certain thought process.

We also see what we expect to see and that can create translation errors, that can cloud what we experience. I have no doubt that students that surpass my abilities will see even more detail. The whole point of all this is that we have teachers like Barbara to get us to a certain level, and then if the teacher has been good, we can rise above that teacher. And then those teachers teach others and if they’re good, they get their students above them as well.
