Reposted as background for the January 6 Committee Hearings in the U.S.: This post is about making sense of the world in the aftermath of a failed coup attempt by a backfill president, who lost an election and incited his ragtag team of followers to attack the Capitol building on the day the lawmakers were certifying the election results. They had to stop everything and run for their lives to avoid the angry mob whose intent was to kill. This was an orchestrated attack on democracy itself. As always, the bigger question is: Who wants change? Who wants to change? Who wants to be the change?
Who wants change?
There are numerous ongoing investigations into the people that participated in the Capitol attack. They included MAGA diehards, QAnon cultists, active and retired members of the military and law enforcement, some members of Congress and their donors, prominent figures in the wellness and spiritual communities, propagandists, provocateurs and wannabe spies that acted like “shock troops” in response to their leader’s directive: “If you don’t fight like hell you’re not going to have a country anymore.”
This cartoon summarizes how people tend to respond to change:
Most people say they want change. It seems better than feeling stuck in the mud, blocked or stagnant. But fewer people want to change themselves. And even fewer people want to BE the change they wish to see in the world, to be the way showers for others.
In a recent video (“The Cosmic Reset”), Matt Kahn observed:
“When people act out violently, as if in the name of a greater good, deep down they’re bypassing the code of morality from a place of fear, while justifying it in some sort of conceptual way to make criminal behavior seem more like a Robin Hood fantasy.
No matter the spiritual narrative that is attempting to justify the unconscious behavior we see being demonstrated, what we find is that opposition, division, judgment and any type of battle, argument, or conflict is a trauma response to the depth of healing we have forgotten on a collective level is what we came to go through…for if we can heal and transform on a deeper level than any of the ancestors that came before us, we take it upon ourselves to further the consciousness of this planet beyond anything it has known.”
Who wants to change?
In the article, “Our Response to Massive Change,” José Stevens described how the people around us represent five soul ages that differ in their response to change:
- Infant souls (least experienced souls): They have intense, paralyzing fear of change. They either withdraw or stage violent, panicky attacks on others (e.g. terrorists, school shootings, suicide bombers).
- Toddler souls: They are resistant to change and easily overwhelmed, confused, disoriented or stupefied. They can become unbalanced, insane or react with belligerence. They seek to obey a parental figure or an authoritarian leader (e.g. religious fundamentalists, political cults, spiritual cults). They are followers.
- Young souls: They enjoy change but only on their terms to gain higher status, material wealth and power for themselves (e.g. politicians, presidents, CEOs). They want absolute rule and power over others.
- Mature souls: They initiate change and enjoy the growth opportunities accelerated by changing relationships, jobs, travel, etc. They are interested in innovation and evolution, not going backwards.
- Old souls (most experienced souls): They initiate change, but are more interested in deep personal transformation. They would rather change their outlook on life than try to change the outer world.
All five soul ages are still represented on the planet, often in conflict with one another, because their world views and values differ. According to Stevens, half of the population today is made of infant (5%), baby (20%) and young (25%) souls. The other half is made of mature (35%) and old (15%) souls (see: What Is Meant By Soul Age? – Big Picture Questions.com).
Who wants to be the change?
Matt Kahn (“The Cosmic Reset”) said when you look at the world right now and see so many unthinkable, questionable things, you can summarize it with one sentence: An enemy is the ally of avoidance.
“Have you stopped to recognize that enemies that seem to be on opposite sides of a battlefield are equally allies in helping each other avoid the deeper healing journey that they are afraid to undertake? What we’re seeing on the planet is not everyone is ready to go that willingly, which is why the ego needs an enemy.”
He added when you watch people doing incredible acts of unconscious mayhem, ask yourself:
- Are you witnessing it from the perspective of a battlefield of opposition?
- Are you making new enemies out of those people, who act in a way that is opposite to the way you wish the world to be?
- Or are you compassionately seeing a world so lost in trauma response with a narrative of righteousness that makes them feel…
- as if they’re hiding in the fantasy of a hero, not seeing the truthfulness of aggregious behavior?
- as if they’re doing so much good in the world, that they could bypass the unflinchable laws of morality?
- as if lawlessness was somehow able to bring a greater good for all?
What we’re seeing is the individual and collective ego structure fighting as hard as it can to avoid and slow down its own awakening consciousness. He said:
- Instead of judging the unconscionable or acting as the “corrector” that leaves others feeling invalidated and more self-defeated, we can compassionately witness those engulfed in a trauma response. Why?
- This cosmic reset is shifting us out of individual and collective ego consciousness.
As Matt put it, when you enter heaven, the sign says:
Welcome to heaven. Population: Infinite souls. No enemies. Only teachers. Just souls helping each other awaken and expand for the roles they play in each other’s lives. Heaven is the dimension of radiant selflessness. We come to earth to forget that, so we have something to remember!
Final Comments
I hope this post helps you make better sense out of the world we live in right now. There is another aspect taught by Lyssa Royal (“The Golden Lake”) that has to do with how our ego evolves through the different “densities” (frequency levels) in this universe.
She said each of the densities has a certain level of separation from the One (Source), which feels different to entities at different levels. She explained:
- As long as we have a physical body with a separated identity, there is a version of fear/pain. But the way the ego deals with pain in 3D vs. 4D is very different. In 3D, the pain is more intense, because it is associated with the ego identity or character we don here, whereas in 4D, the experience changes to a less egoic, less individualized version. The ego doesn’t grab or own pain in the same way. You start to see that your pain is reflected in others, so you start to see it and feel it more on an archetypal level.
- As the polarities of thought and control (e.g. politics, religion) start to disintegrate with integration of the heart and mind, the egoic structures get weaker. The egos in 4D don’t weigh down or delude the entities in the same way as 3D egos do.
- When we evolve to 5D, the ego structure disintegrates further. It begins to move away from individual identity to group identity. Consciousness takes archetypal form. At 6D, the realities are not ego based, so we have group consciousness (e.g. Christ/Buddha consciousness) that help the entities at lower levels. At 7D, the group consciousness is very integrated, but they’re still not the One. They feel the separation as an ache or awareness of the missing part (of Source).
Well, there you have it! Now the New Golden Rule makes even more sense:
